yes, very aptly named! it does look exaclty like one imagines a "branching oyster" to look like… ; ) you captured it in a beautiful (natural? unnatural??) glowing light, which brings out the beauty of its creamy, ivory looks perfectly! phew, fungi are hard to photograph! tried my luck on a few this weekend, disk-shaped white ones half-hidden in the leaves on the forest floor – ridiculously akward images! deleted them all… and took to shooting trees in thick fog instead… ; ) greetings, sabine.
