i need one for my "bunny bar"! watched a mouse take off with what was originally meant to be an extra treat for the two hedgehogs living in our garden: hazelnut halves. they slept through the long winter in their respective leaf hills, the hedgehogs did. but now they are up and roaming the lawn at night in search of food. i've already seen them a couple of times sniff-navigate their way towards the bunny bar like drunken sailors… ; )) well, to make a long story short: if i had a crown imperial, it would be a lot easier to keep the mouse mob under control! ; )). beautiful, how in your image they seem to be both absorbing and radiating the light! greetings, sabine.
I didn't know the yellow version of Kaiserkrone exists at all. I have always seen an orange one. They must look beautiful in full bloom. Great capture.

Jetzt blühen sie wieder gelb oder orange, die schönen Kaiserkronen! Sehr beliebt auch bei den Lilienhähnchen (Lilioceris lilii) :)Gruß, Gunther
