A fantastic capture of this unique building. I like the contrasts of the architectural stles and the warmth of the lighted flat against the dark skies.

Howard
the shard hasn't shattered into a thousand little pieces but is still standing, triumphantly scraping the sky as though nothing ever happened. st. jude – patron saint of lost causes – has obviously spared it… and still, one wouldn't want to be up there during a major storm – must make one feel suddenly very alone, pondering the old saying "everything that goes up must come down!" ; ) love the "modern comfort" radiating from the cozily lit orange window down below – thank god for the nether regions! ; )) greetings, sabine. p.s.: i just googled "st. jude's storm" and found out that interestingly enough it's the same vicious storm that hit us up here in the north of germany and scandinavia under the names of "christian" and "simone"…
Very prominent is the glass tower in the dark clouds, and is assisted in his dramatic lish effective from the image section.
Particularly charming is the color contrast of the small yellow lighted window
