oh, oh, guess what, i got the name almost right this time, trying to guess what feature/words would determine it: "amethyst", i thought, would be in it and perhaps "felt" or "velvet"… what an unusual looking fungus indeed! the velvety textures of its cap – fascinating! the violet color, a bit like cooked red cabbage – absolutely gorgeous! yeah, why didn't they call it "glamor boy", for crying out loud?! ; )) greetings, sabine.
