: )) like franz bernhardt, i'm trying to figure out the world the tree is placed in! at first i thought it was a reflection, but no, i think the clouds are real – or are they? ; ) could the tree be in a horizontal position, drifting on the water of a pond?? hard to decide and that makes it especially fascinating!! the shriveled leaves of "the tree formerly known as japanese maple" ; ) are still surprisingly beautiful, refusing to lose their characteristic red color, and thus resembling some surreal waterbird's feet… hugs, sabine. p.s.: the combination of cool grayish blue with subtle red – very lovely in a laid-back, melancholy, wintry way!
