es war früh am Abend, bewölkt und insgesamt recht grau. "The Bean" ist ja auch eine chromgänzende Skulptur, die die Farben des Tages reflektiert. Wo aber keine Farbe ....
Das Originalfoto hat nur wenige auffällige Farbtupfer (Kleidung der Touristen) und die empfand ich als störend.
Deshalb habe ich es mit der Monochromversion versucht und fand das Ergebnis ansprechender.

The original photo has only a few conspicuous spots of color (clothing of the tourists) and I found it disturbing.
So I tried it with the monochrome version and found the result more appealing.
