The Mouse That Roared

Greece at Zero Point.

"The Mouse That Roared" was a very amusing film(1959) by Jack Arnold in which the unforgettable Peter Sellers gave a three role recital staring as the Prime Minister of a miniscule and bankrupted European country declaring war on the United States in an attempt to restore it's economy.
In present Greece, another Prime Minister, overestimating unfortunately not his acting but his political capacities, decided to try a remake of that film transferring the harmless entertainment of a film plot into the morbid tragedy of an existing reality.....

It is to be hoped that your Greek 'mouse' will be able to roar load enough to make the rest of the EU listen... and more importantly dosomething to help.

    A superb illustration.

an excellent close and expressive portrait of this cat, and with the little mouse very symbolic of the film (which I remember) and of the sad present situation in your country ... one can only sit back helplessly and hope for the best - it must be difficult !!!!
    greetings, Adele

I do not have perfect knowledge of your situation in life and your economy, we can not assess the development of this long-suffered agreement. I just hope that this will not adversely much suffering and slowly you can see some improvement. This Europe does not like it either, I hate the hegemony of the world of finance and speculation. I fear that nothing changes for the better.
    cari saluti solidali
