Hi Janos,
Just enjoyed a trip out to Chicago to see the sights. Yes, I had to get this classic, textbook view. I did't remember the building in the background, and after looking back at some of my textbooks, it was covered by a trees, with leaves. Thanks for you comment. And congratulations on your new book!
Steve
Hello All, I have taken a break from photography mainly because I am fed up with the winter here and tired of photographing it. Secondly, because I am writing a book on opera, actually finished it and it's about to be published.
It looks like Spring has finally arrived so you'll soon see some more photos whether you want them or not. Cheers to you all. Janos
Venice is a really beautiful and romantic city and one of the cities where Lord Byron lived for some years.... maybe him saw this view as well :)
Thanks
Gabriele
Hi,Janos
I've just got your book in my hand!! I'll sit and go through it during the coming week end.By firstsight it looks marvellous with a lot of information on classical music, musicians, orchestras, conductors etc...Besides my passion to listen to classical music, I've got another one to collect DVD's with performances of great conductors that you mention in your book. The majority of them I've seen live also as Kent Nagano,Claudio Abado, Von Karajan,Leonard Bernstein,Simon Rattle,Mark Minkovski, Daniel Harding,Haindig,Harnoncur etc, etc,etc and of course, my favourite, Valeri Gergiev in his great Mahler 2 (of resurection)performance...
Thanks from my heart, Janos, I appreciate your kind gesture and I congratulate you for your knowledge and achievement in creating this book. I'll tell you more in a e-mail
my best regards alexander

Many, many thanks, My frend! P.S. Perhaps *without face* has a mysterious and more originality (epatage), but this is a cheap trick. ; ) My Respect!OldsDrive 13/03/2014 20:26
Hi Janos.. THX for your comment..On this picture we try to style it like a road-movie
