Hi, Berthold.
When walking at the streets of the big city I usually see various icons in front of me, taking their pace in this big urban happening and in my mind (familiar with this situation as well?).
Icons without having been connected to our personal (yet previous) experiences and underlying knowledges will remain dead and untapped, which, in my opinion, is some kind of a tiny, unexpected tragedy.
I saw something like a new version of a Robert Rauschenberg's painting on that Protest 2 wall. You guessed right about the abstraction.
