A propos de moi
Hi I'm Dave Rogers
I like to ride my electric Powerbyke around the local river and canal towpaths
I like to take pics of British Waterways river,
canal, lock architecture, wildlife and old buildings.I'm using a little Fuji FinePix F450 that I can keep in my top pocket,I also use an old Pentax SP1000 with various lenses ..when not on my bikeI love sunny days in my OPEN TOP JEEP..
I've just got a Canon EOS 20d trying it out right now I'll post some pics soon
I bought a Canon flip up mirror SLR because its metering system allows use in Av and M mode when shooting through a lens lacking modern aperture connections-- While Nikon and similar SLRs shut off the metering. That means I could meter through a home made macro lens,my supply of old SLR lenses, mirror lenses , Russian made M42 Zenit and Peleng fisheyes.
