Hello everyone in fotocommunity, it's very nice to be here.
I became hooked on photography in my early twenties (and that was a long time ago !) after a friend gave me some photo mags.
I've been a bit slow to embrace digital photography, stubbornly persisting with my old Canons A1/AE1 and Kodachrome slide film.
Photography is, and will always be, my great passion. I'm at my most contented wandering around looking for a good pic. A nice scene or an interesting subject and the right kind of light is what i look for.
I still get that "BUZZ" when i think i've got one in the can !

Hi, Maurice,I am truly impressed because of the amazing gallery of natural, beautiful landscapes I have discovered today [ask myself: why so late?] :) Looking at your pictures is the great pleasure. Must appreciate not only the beauty of country you photograph but also excellent photographic technique and masterful using the golden hour light.

I must admit to being a bit lucky with this one, the light had all but gone and I didn't have the tripod with me - I rattled a few frames off at high ISO and one turned out OK. A few hundred yards away I found an even more interesting scene but by that time it was too dark for handheld. There's always another day.
