My photography refers to abstraction, perspective, detail and space. It explores the conceptual limits of Photography, in the search for a vision that questions the stability of meaning in reference to realism and representativeness in my photography. The work focuses on the mutability of forms, through abstraction seeks to show within the everyday the extraordinary, photographing materials and textures that we are common or habitual from different angles and focusing on specific details, a search for new Forms and compositions that are completely isolated from reality. I´d been working for several years portraying the practices of death cults in Latin America and especially the Aymara tradition of the Ñatitas in La Paz, Bolivia.
