A propos de moi
What's said is true.... " A picture IS worth a thousand words."
Photographs tell us the stories of people, places, and things, as seen by the eye behind the lens. They take you places you may never be able to travel to, and teach you much about life in our universe. They document the times in our lives that we care to remember, and sometimes those that we'd rather forget.
I've always taken a deep interest in any medium that allows me to express myself through it's creativity. I spent most of my High School years sneaking off to work on projects in the Art Room, then when I studied Computer Programming, I spent much of my spare time as the "Official Mug Shot " Photographer.
I love taking photos, but despise being the subject of them. No matter where I am, even when I have forgotten to bring along a camera, am always looking at the world in frames, while thinking "What a nice composition that would be!"
I love the ease and quick rewards of Digital, and don't even mind all the editing involved. I value Video and am very glad I invested in one of the first small VHS camera's available, while my offspring were still very young. I've only recently found my dream SLR camera, and have some nice lenses. Once I get the door repaired, which was "jimmy-rigged" when I purchased the camera via an eBay auction, I plan to spend many hours adding new photos to my collection.
