A Thin Membrane in The Romper Room

The membrane is what actually changes. WHen values leave the gentile ideas for a more aggressive way in life because of the simple rewards like being stronger, being able to be a leader, and above all as a child growing up. It about being able to get the most sweets and desired toys at hand. These traits in the logic of a complex social society will pay off for survival, even thought they abandon any host rules.

An interesting image, series and reflection of trends in society. When the rules / laws of society give way to brute force and intimidation society will break down. The old and the young will be preyed upon rather than protected and freedoms will vanish.
But am I being naïve, maybe the governments are the bullies today hiding behind the veil of law. Imposing their will upon the people rather than the peace they so desire. Freedoms are quickly disappearing and a Police state mentality is slowly taking hold over today’s society. It’s for your own good / safety they say and we buy into it. Cameras, drones taking pictures and enforcing laws. A secret presences hiding in the background watching your every move on the internet or phone.

And if you think that it is just in the US maybe you are being naïve.

The land of the free is slowly disappearing.
