Close to the manta ray
Obviously, the manta rays like the proximity of us divers, some enjoy romping in the rising air bubbles from our regulator. On both sides of the head, mantas have one head fin each. With these fins, they add extra plankton-rich water to their mouths.
It was believed that giant mantas are dangerous to humans, but they are considered to be harmless.
I snapped this photo only 5 meters deep during our safety stop. The rays still swam around us as we came back to the surface.
