...yes - somewhere in heaven, that fits perfectly....The first time when I was in Venezia I wasn't really thrilled - this all seemed to me like a scenery for tourists, pretending some long gone old glory...but about half a year later, I wanted to go back. And so I did. Year after year. And meanwhile, when we're on the Ponte della Libertà and I can see the glittering water of the lagoon and all the steeples and domes of this wonderful city, it's like a homecoming...thanks for that beautiful picture, my dearest friend!
