Ganden Monastery

Once when we arrived to top of Ganden we'd an overall view of the very huge area of the complex. One day wasn't enough for the excursion out from Lhasa but there is no place to overnight for visitors.
In 2004 the complex was almost renewed but still we heard the noise of mallets, chainsaws, grinding and slicer machines from every where.
Have a look to this website out from the Internet, it shows some pictures of Ganden after the Chinese ravage in 1951
