Happy New Year To You All!!! Happy, Happy 2008 To You All!!

Hello all my family and friends across the oceans around the globe.
As we approach the end of the Old Year, I have decided it’s about time I got onto the net and pass on a message, to you all!!
May the year 2008, be one that pleases you all!!
I hope that you all have a wonderful new year, filled with health and happiness.
May all your problems be teeny little ones that are simple to deal with?
I sure have been feeling a little rough for the last two months and yes I am still unwell and have been put on a new course of drugs, these maybe the answer to this flu that many have over here.
I am seeing the old year out from my bed and will welcome the New Year in from it.
Christmas was a traditional lunch and back to bed till the next day for me.
Have just returned from a four day trip to Vientiane Laos and managed to take out my gorgeous little friend, Dun.
Dun and her Sister have a business some 30 kilometres from Vientiane; they are both beauticians and also trained as hairdressers.
Dun invited me out for a haircut, off course I jumped at the invite.
I had a 3 hour wait before she could cut my hair, so I sat down at the tiny village restaurant next-door.
There I got to entertain young kids, school teachers, workers and local police.
The policemen were sitting down for lunch and invited me to join them, one offered me a Pepsi Cola bottle and said drink it.
Never ever had Lao homemade red whiskey ever before, I join them anyway and as I downed about 300 mls.
I realised that I had just swallowed supersonic, high octane fuel, wow it almost blew my head off.
The young kids are such a pleasure to play with and it does not take much to get them laughing with joy.
