you got me with this one - blackbird, title, and the dedication.
my first response(s) were thoughtless. and now, even with
a little sleep and a lot of contemplation, i still don't know what to say.
but your picture says it all - the title describes human nature,
the blackbird's warning goes unnoticed
and i am stupidest of all because i can do nothing
to make it stop. i'm the april fool.
people have proven their brilliance through the metal ages to our nuclear age and have learned nothing about the value of life. until we do, we will remain the simplest fools of creation.
