Seralung Gompa at the Lake Manasarovar
The Seralung (Hailstone Valley) monastery was rebuilt in 1984 by the Drigung Kagyu monastery. It is located on the right side of a small valley near a spring.
The gompa was complete destroyed before during the Chinese culture revolution and many monks were killed or banished.
Only one monk is now living permanently in this Monastery site, but he gets many viisits by pilgrims almost every day.
My picture is taken in May 2004 with a NIKON CoolPix 5000.
