The Gatun Locks
Entering the Panama Canal from the Atlantic Ocean, the Gatun Locks are the first to go through - they lift the ships via triple flights of locks to the height of Gatun Lake.

Fine documentary of Panama's main source of income..:) Although the Canal suffered a huge revenue drop throughout the last years, taxes are still low and life is livable and affordable - at least for us 'Europeans'...MICHAEL stüben 28/06/2011 20:02
