The Real Me Is Over Here
Why am I considered more acceptable, happier, healthier, and more sociable just because I have on makeup? Am I not okay just the way I am? Why do I fall victim to the pressure in order to avoid the dreaded question... "Are you okay?"

Hm, make-up is like alcohol: a little can be a good thing, too much a mask. I think the 'commentary' aspect of the photo might have been stronger if the contrast between the two sides was greater (cf.
