A propos de moi
Hello my name is Calvin and I am obsessed into photography...
To be honest, friends got me into photography.
After bugging and forcing me to buy a cam and try out on photography myself I finally bought a Konica-Minolta Dimage Z6 on summer 2006. No biggie, just a small compact zapper for fun... and I had fun...I realized how unlimited you can set your creativity in this hobby and of how good the quality the cams were made and its quality was improved constantly, as it still is. I even was very glad to had a small digi-cam.
However, I realized that not only the quality of a camera leads to success on shooting for good pictures but also the own ideas, sense for colors and feelings, understanding for light and dark, technical issues, creativity, perspectives, editing with graphical-programs/converters, this and that you know all it was a competition to me just to see how far I could go with just a digi-cam.
Told you before.... I had fun.... and the fun... turned out into positive minded addiction ^^ I wanted more and more but as it seems the digi-cam reached its peak. It was time for a new good DSLR-Camera and I decided for the Fuji FinePix 3S Pro with lense (Nikon) Nikkor AF-S DX 3,5-4,5/18-70mm G IF-ED and bought all stuff on January 2007. Now I really love the hobby even more, in front of a photographer and as a photographer myself.
Hope you enjoyed reading my biography.
So long, Calvin :)

Hi there Calvin, welcome to the fotocommunity! :-)The idea of fotocommunity is to give beginners, amateurs and professionals a place to share their passion for photography.
You can view and comment the work of others, you can upload your own work to share it and get comments from other people around the world, and you can discuss or ask about anything you might want to know about our common interests.
One of the admins, Dirk Hofmann, wrote a tutorial for new members, and I recommend you take a look at it. It helped me a lot when I joined:

You can also get lots of information in our online-help. In there you can learn about the different features of fotocommunity.
