A propos de moi
I was asked to take pictures for our racing organization 3 years ago and several professional photographers helped me get started, great people to work with.I really like wildlife photography,I just don't have alot of time since my grandson now lives with me and takes up alot of my free time.I recieved a Minolta 303 QTsi for a gift and I've been using it every since.I've just been adding lenses and flash equipement as I can afford it, I purchased a minolta maxxum 5 a couple of days ago since my equipement will interchange with it.I just need to take some photography classes now so I might better understand my camera functions and hopefully do a better job since I love photography so much now.Thank you for your support.

Hi Dora,Thank you for taking the time to comment on one of my photos. I really appreciate it. I'm glad to hear that as a beginner, you are taking things slow & adding on equipment as you go along and are taking classes. The best advice I can give you is based on a comment a friend of mine who is a Director of Photography in the movie business. He said that the shoot films at at least a 40:1 ratio. Meaning that for every minute of film that you see, 40 minutes of film was shot...& these are big-time professionals. In regards to my own work (I usually post on Photo Points) for every pic I keep, there are typically at least 60 or more that I delete. Get the idea? The only way to get good at this is to make tons of mistakes & keep on shooting! And be glad you are shooting digital & not film...think about the cost!
Good luck & thanks!
