I am an amateur photographer. Frankly speaking I've not taken any photographs since last 4 yrs, was very busy in building my career in Computer Programming. Before that we had a very simple film camera, won in local newspaper contest. And that also came with some inbuilt special effects. Actually we used to get some red coloring in every snap due to some leakage of light. And my friends used to say that what a photographer he is. But I have a hidden passion for photography, to be more exact I just want to capture those moments which we generally skips during our daily hectic schedule and do not have so much time to sit and stare at those happy and refreshing moments of nature.
I know the perception of a photographer is very much different from an ordinary person for most of the thing
Just now I've bought Nikon DSLR D50. And trying to understand the various concepts like aperture control, white balancing......
Definetly I would look for advice from experts here..

Hi! :)My camera is very, very simple. I have Canon PowerShot A630 :) This effect of an old picture it's a credit of textures. You can find it on morguefile.com :)
I have Canon EOS 400D too, but I'm using it to take pictures of nature only :)
