Yes I thought that it could have been sharper. I took so many of them, and this was the sharpest one of them. I shall have to practice! Thanks for the comment.

There are some plants on the water : a leaf ,a little stick and a small deadwood .I found them like in picture ...I didn't arrange them. The nature is amazing.
I don't think it is poisonous but it is very prickly as I found out when I tried to cut it back last year and had to use gloves! The garden spiders seem to like it as well, eek!! Thanks for your comment, greatly appreciated.
