By the way -
I see where the nurnburgring is.
The nearest that i have been to that area is , a few years ago, when I visited Duren, Cologne and dusseldorf - all very nice.

You are very kind, Dieter.
When I edit my photographs - it means that for me - the holiday lasts one or two months, and not just the three weeks that i was there.
I liked the light in siracusa - and the way - in the morning - it slanted down the alleyways - and sometimes it illuminated the clouds of dust and of insects. It created lots of triangles of light.
I also liked the sunlight on the pink(ish) stone - which made the stone seem very light.
Yes - Italy remains my favourite destination.

Hello Mark! Your journey to the deep south, or rather into the feet/boots of "Bella Italia". Impressions from Syracuse and Palermo in the morning hours. Away from tourist activity, flair of the everyday life of its residents. Melancholic framing with testimonies of centuries of formative, historical backdrop. Sometimes modern attributes also appear conspicuously in the field of attentive observation. Encounters of beautiful, impressive tranquility in everyday life and venerable cultural monuments. Great!
