Most of great white egret are here year round, but they are joined twice a year by migration flocks that use that flyway, many different types of shore birds come here every year on their way north or south ...their mating and winter plumage is very pretty and something to see, I have been granted permission to photograph them, during that period, this year...they are very careful not to disturb them too much while they are mating, etc.
