Hello Rohan!!
Thanks for your touching e-mail.
Remember, that one mans meat is another's poison.
We love nature, others prefer concrete and steal,
plastic and glass.
In simple terms neither of us are at fault, each is entitled to see
beauty in whatever subject we choose.
I would like to share something with you, I leant almost fifty years ago.

Make a mighty ocean an a gracious land."
Remember it always.
Good luck and happy snapping.

Hello Rohan:
That's really great hearing you like my compositions.
OH about the revise section, I tried to edit some other people's compositions, in order to make them bettre, of course not every picture are that successful through my modification.
Yes camera using has many different kinds of purpose, it can be used for artistic works creating or recording the memory or like writing down oneself his diary through the means of pictures. also it helps a lot for people talking on the web by supporing more visual information. :)
I expect your pictures also, thanks very much for your nice regards!
Greeting from Russia

Thanks for your kind words Rohan,no I'm not a profestional Just a happy enthusiast. you will get there in the end. Your pictures look very promising and with persistance you will gain the vision that eludes so many .
Regards John.
Hi Rohan - you always write the nicest comments. Thank you very much. Every sentence is like a beautiful poem.
You know, this picture of the fall leave was shot with my 2.2 MP Nikon 950, which is about 5 years old by now. I do have a Panasonic FZ20 too, but I love the Nikon for macros and the FZ20 for the 12xzoom, the Leica lens and stabilizer.
Wow, Rohan, I can't believe you're comment, it puts to shame my one-lined comment in one of your photographs. I can't believe you think of me as a "mentor", I'm only 17! I thank you for the kindness though and grant you a long bow for your talent in photography. Keep posting up photographs so I can remain here continually appreciating them! Even if I don't comment, I still love your work (the only reason I don't comment sometimes is because I just can't be bothered), so remember, I always appreciate it!
Hi Rohan
Thank you very much for the lovely comment on 'go placidly' if your interested how the owner of those feet look, there are a couple of my other photos that my sister appears in intitled 'shadow' and 'depression'. I also agree with you on the painful emotion that the feet itself express, and that is because she did want to walk on the leaves in fear of some bug biting her or something. but anyway, thanks again :-)
Liz.
Thanks for visitting me, Rohan.
You're wrong - I'm not a pro at all. I just enjoy taking photos - exactly like you do, and I'm trying to learn all the time.
I wish you a lot of satisfaction of your works.
greetings,
Agata
HI, Rohan, so nice to hear from you. I don't post pictures that often. I think I have about 11 or so on line now. I look at FC several times a day to learn from other photographers and am always glad when i see your work. I also take photos every day but I don't always have something I think is worth posting. I just love FC. I think the quality is so high and I learn so much.
Your camera question is interesting to me. Way back long before you were born I had an SLR with many lenses and I developed B&W and color film. Then for many decades I used only cheap cameras to take pictures of family parties. When I got sesrious about photography again I bought a high end digital--the Panasonic Lumix FZ20 with an incredible lens. I loved the camera but the delay was frustrating. After a week or so I was able to return it (I bought it from a great camera store in SF, Wolf on Van Ness) and I bought instead the Canon 350D, which is a digital SLR. It has all the advantages of film--interchangeable lenses and through the lens viewing, as well as no delay between photos. however, digital, not matter how good it is, will never deliver the quality that film will. But I'm not interested in dark room work or professional work so digital is fine for me. With the digital SLR you can use a card and take hundreds of photos and view them after each shot--you can't compose with the LCD of course, only through the lens. I am in love with this camera and am learning more about it and am becoming happier and happier with my pictures, but I have a long way to go. I think for photographers like you and me, not professional but very serious about our work, DSLR is great.
You might want to think about DSLR if film is frustrating you. If you like Nikon, it makes them--I think the D70 is similar to mine, but there are others. Canon is very highly rated. If you are interested in learning more about Canon I can forward a canon website that has been very helpful to me. Also, I read many reviews before I decided to invest in my camera and they helped as well. You won't be disappointed. Chip Johanson advised me on FC and his pictures are beautiful. You might look for them. He has a slightly more advanced model than mine but the image quality is the same. I hope this helps. I'm going out into san Francisco now to take some pictures!!! be well and always good to hear from you. Warmest wishes, Helen
