Thank you for your kind comments concerning my work, yes, a tripod and a remote control was used.
I also used a flash that I held in my hand and fired it manually to light the older car.
hey thanks jeff. swingShift and tabulaRasa are sans manipulation save for a levels adjustment, the outline border, drop shadow and ah yes the framing. : ) hands off that, buddy...!! LOL.. i can dig up the tech specs on them. everyone seems to think it's 'created' when really it was just shot, long exp., mid iso no flash low light. end of story. i know how i love PS and then the second ya try somethin' different....! gah! anyway, thank goodness i studied art history and know to take the goya association as a compliment! haha...
thanks!

thanks for the note and the comment on fiatFlux, jeff! (yep, that's me on my profile page...a bit more flowery than usual, but it's the vestigial valentine's day thing. ha ha!) i applaud you for your lack of trepidation when it comes to color! sometimes i'm more monochrome, other times, i like to push the old PS hsb limits a little! that from a former chronic desaturator...
cheers,
