Arapaima

This picture was taken in the Singapore zoo.

Arapaimas are the largest fresh water fish and the feeding procedure is quite amazing. There are seven of these large creature lying somewhere hidden under the surface of the muddy pond. When the trainer reaches out the food they suck the air in with a noticeable puffing sound like an implosion and create a huge splash. That happens in less than half a second is therefor with the blank eye barely noticeable.

I was very lucky to capture the Arapaima with this shot, about 100 shots just recorded the water.
