Biphase Inclusion, the other side of the light.
This microphotography is a biphase inclusion( liquid+gas) in a gypsum crystal.
Magnification is about 40X, brightfield, shadowing and light-painting techniques have been used.
The rainbow is due to the lamellar structure of gypsum, visible under a specific light orientation and observation point.
