another of your beautiful "light-and-shadow creations"! this time i see ulysses in one of his rare "hopeless moments", feeling totally alone and lost in despair, because he's stranded on the island of aeaea, with all his companions being "brain-washed" and turned into pigs by the powerful enchantress circe… going home seems impossible, his life in ruins, his spirits down, his ship wrecked? he's so homesick for ithaca and his life with penelope, that he is picturing her body in the stern of his boat now! – – nothing but associations, of course ; ))… greetings, sabine.deep-x 08/09/2010 22:05
