Hair
Even while serving his country, this man wore facial hair and avoided the military's usually close-cropped coiffure. It kept him in constant hot water with his non-commissioned officers, but only once did such confrontations result in a trip to the base barber. Back then,according to him, his hair wasn't as unruly as it is now.
