Green tree frogs belong to a group of animals called amphibians, which are represented by three orders: Anura (Frogs and Toads), Urodela (Newts and Salamanders) and Apoda (burrowing worm-like creatures).
There are over 200 species of frogs known in Australia, with approximately 114 species living in Queensland.
