Just got a shower :)
I have a feeling it would't be very easy to take a photo of this cute creature (I've no idea about the name....) in his/her good mood:))
In my case it was so patiently watching my camera only because this boy /girl was very wet after the rain and could not fly away..

I agree with Fons here, a good sharp photo of the fly. In your photo you are showing off the wonderful details of the thorax as well as the eyes. BTW, the damselfly and dragonfly are both classified in the same order, ODONATA . BW -archieFons van Swaal 09/08/2008 19:46

I think it's actually a damselfly: damselflies hold their wings parallel to the body when in rest, whereas most dragonflies hold the wings perpendicular to the body while in rest (see Vera's picture above).A nice clear catch nevertheless.
