it then weighs about 3.4 kg and its wingspan is about 1.80 m.
And with these dimensions, the eagle owl ( Bubo bubo ) is the largest owl in the world.
In the wild, they can live up to 25 years.
Eagle owls are resident birds and are native to Germany.
The eagle owl is a sit hunter. However, as it is mobbed by all bird species, it sits almost motionless somewhere (tree, building) all day long and observes everything that moves; for example, it memorizes the roosting places of pigeons or crows and then hunts them at night.
Its worst enemy is man,
He destroys their habitat and hunts them by illegally poisoning or shooting them.
In addition, many people have moved their leisure activities into the countryside, and the eagle owls (and not only them!) are constantly panicked by additional disturbances (parties, remote-controlled helicopters, motorcross and paragliders).

Und mit diesen Maßen ist der Uhu ( Bubo bubo ) die größte Eule der Welt.
In freier Wildbahn können sie bis zu 25 Jahre alt werden.
Uhus sind Standvögel und in Deutschland heimisch.
Der Uhu ist ein Ansitzjäger. Da er aber von allen Vogelarten gemobbt wird, sitzt er den ganzen Tag fast bewegungslos irgendwo (Baum, Gebäude) und beobachtet alles, was sich bewegt; er merkt sich zum Beispiel die Schlafplätze von Tauben oder Krähen und jagt sie dann nachts.
Sein schlimmster Feind ist der Mensch,
Er zerstört ihren Lebensraum und jagt sie, indem er sie illegal vergiftet oder erschießt.
Außerdem haben viele Menschen ihre Freizeitaktivitäten in die Landschaft verlegt, und die Uhus (und nicht nur sie!) werden durch zusätzliche Störungen (Partys, ferngesteuerte Hubschrauber, Motorcross und Gleitschirmflieger)
ständig in Panik versetzt.
