Looking into a gibbon face

A brown gibbon aps in the jungle of Umhang in northwest of Thailand.

Gibbons are tree-dwelling apes that live in Thailand. Also known as lesser apes as distinct from great apes, gibbons are quick and agile, brachiating through the treetops at speeds up to 50 kph. The majority of gibbon species are endangered, and some are critically endangered.
