his bright red plumage is not only his most striking outward feature, it also appears to be a trait of his personality: he looks so very inquisitive and alert in this shot – all eyes, all ears, all crest – a hot-headed little fellow, red in tooth and claw! ; ))) what a terrific expression on his little face! greetings, sabine.
