Mayday Rochester "sweeps festival" U.K.
England identity has become really quite faceless. Once a year however Old England comes out to celebrate its culture and traditions dating back from the middle ages, on Mayday. This picture is from Rochester on the following day, one of many towns and cities that host music, dance and plenty of beer.

Did you manage to get a shot of the Green Man that kicks off the festival weekend ?The morris dancers above are the funniest lot there - especially on a Sunday after they have had a bit to drink. They become positively lethal with those sticks.
