I know.... not the sharpest detail in the sign, not sure if the reflective nature of the sign made it hard for the camera to focus on it or if the lens is soft. Anyway it is only up for a short time for the monthly theme this month. Maybe I should have used an f-stop of 5.6 - 6 and slowed the shutter speed down.....

Some camera and lens combinations causes the focus to be in front of the object, especially at larger aperture settings. This has been a problem with the Nikon D40 and 200 mm zoom lens ( kit).Interesting sign.

I've never seen this sign befor, a nice touch of hummer. It looks like fall has arrived.I have no answer about the focus. I will continue to monitor this photo for more comments on this. I use the answers for my own education.
