Proud Soldier of the Seas
In the 1970's there was a secret section of marshland in Wellfleet, Massachusetts, USA that was used as a boat graveyard. Once proud working lobster and clam boats that had seen too many years or one too many storms were towed into this area and left to decay. This is one picture of many taken back then. I was lucky to get them. Less than a month later the town of Wellfleet embarked on a campaign to clean up the area & shortly after all this incredible history was gone!
