  This picture gives me a feeling that hills on both sides along the vally have been segmented by the frame a bit abruptly. Hills are supposed to be alive with longer continuations.

it´s a very picturesque landscape, so nice to see it again,
(i´ve been a few times in yorkshire for holidays)

  Apparently - the dry weather meant that most of the heather came into flower very early - in July. Never mind. It is a nice landscape - flat, moorland top - with wide valleys cut into them. Walking around the edge is very easy. Mark.
