Seaside Impressions 2012
Looking for some cooler weather, my Mum and I went to Salou, but, alas, the announced refreshment was not to be found!
It was muggy and sticky and the only places where one could cool down were the sea or a shop or café with air conditioning
And yet it was a nice weekend, a change of the routine and beautiful views upon the sunlit sea...and the camera at home....
So I took advantage of a paper napkin and my ever present, ultra fine gel ball pen to make a little drawing of three porcelain figures I liked...

the fleeting origin of this art – the paper napkin canvas, the sketchy approach – is so very charming, susana! in fact, it's like the fresh oceanic breeze you couldn't find that day! ; ) i just love, how you gave each of them his very own personal traits: one jovial sailor, not afraid of the camera, framed by two grumpy old seadogs facing out to sea – together i bet they are much more alive than the porcelain figurines they were modelled on, who i bet envy them their gulls, too! ; ))) greetings, sabine.Reinhardt II 28/08/2012 15:14
