L’idea di realizzare questa foto mi e’ venuta quando ho visto il film omonimo . E’ la storia di un uomo e della sua odissea millenaria , che cerca di salvare la donna Un che ama. Il suo epico viaggio che ha inizio del XVI secolo. L’uomo inizia la sua ricerca dell'Albero della Vita, una pianta leggendaria che si racconta possa donare la vita eterna, a chi beva la sua linfa. Nella nostra epoca l’uomo è uno scienziato, Tommy Creo, che cerca disperatamente una cura per il cancro che sta uccidendo la sua amata moglie Izzie. Ed infine è un astronauta nel XXIV secolo.


The idea of realising this photo came to me when I saw a movie of the same title (L'albero della vita --The Tree of Life). It's the story about a man and his millenary odyssey who tries to save the woman he loves. His epic journey starts in the 16th century. The man starts his research for the Tree of Life, a legendary plant that tells about itself that it could give the eternal life, to whom who drinks from his lymph. In our epoch the man is a scientist, Tommy Creo, who is despairingly in search for a cure for the cancer that is killing his dear wife Lizzie. And finally, in the 24th century, he is an astronaut.
