The white is the only colour that could compete and survive to the volcanic graysh-black of the Cycladean complex and through the elementary and classic black-white contrast highlights and perpetuates the famous Cycladean beauty. Don't look for other colours in Cyclades. They are redundant, they are a fake...Even the blue of the Greek sky and sea are fake and they don't fit. Visiting the islands in winter and seeing the menacing sky above and the vicious agitated waves under your feet from the top of a rock, you will know what I mean!
