The lagoon 2
North Greece Thrace Delta of river Evros (borders with Turkie)
I spent a whole evening sitting on a bench, enjoying the scenery and peace, with the camera on a tripod and taking several pictures from time to time...It was amazing how many times conditions changed, especially light...I used CP and ND(8) filters to mark the changes on the water surface..The negatives were scanned later. The initial photo was in monochrome(Ilford HP5).

the "light show" put on for you by nature must have been truly amazing! the sparkling world of the foreground especially conveys an enchanted fairy-tale mood with an almost acoustic feel to it: i seem to hear the oceanic will-o'-the-wisps ; ) jingle and jangle, while "skipping" playfully across the water… a magical seascape indeed! and the background with the "sandy swirls" and the gulls is also beautiful! greetings, sabine.Lawson McCulloch 01/11/2013 20:42
