The old bridge
Western Greece Zagorochoria (East Zagori)
The old handmade bridge of Kamber Aga on the river Zagoritis(built on 1780).
Tradition goes like that:
The Turk region prefecture Kamber Aga called a famous christian mason builder and paid him handsomely to build the bridge. At the inauguration day, the bridge under the weight collapsed! Then Kamber Aga said to him:
"I'll give you one more chance. If the bridge again falls, your head will also fall.."
Obviously it stayed...
