The Store Keeper

He is old and has bad vision. Then again he knows what is in his store. No different than the time before, and the time of his father, and his grandfather.. The business was handed over to hime as he will do soon to his son.

the gentle melancholia in his face, the wrinkly turban matching both the lines of his face and his moustache, the giraffe-shaped walking stick – it all turns him into a fairy-tale character for me. and if i were to put together a cast for the filming of a 1001 nights story, he'd be my hot candidate for a wise man! ; )) and i bet this seeming gentleness helps him a lot in the sales business. me, i'd buy almost anything from him, and wouldn't dare haggle – he just looks so dignified and trustworthy… ; )) greetings, sabine.
