Hong Hing ran a laundry and then a general store from 1915-1950.
Chemainus: 78km north of Victoria on Vancouver Island
Canada's largest permanent outdoor art gallery, seen by approx.300,000 visitors/ year. Following economic uncertainty in the early 1980's and the closure of the town's sawmill, an ambitious revitalization program was launched. Talented artists painted murals depicting the area's history on downtown exterior walls.
Currently there are 39 in total.

Great picture of a great location.The additional explanation is very interesting. It ist good that you have the footpath in front so it is easier to get an idea about the dimensions of the painting.
